My life is much different from others as many may not know or understand. If you don’t know how my life has been going for the past few years, keep reading to find out. With a mother in college, and a father like mine, they have a lot of things to think about. So a few dates passed and unexpected news was revealed. As my mom realized she was going to be a mother so soon, she knew it would be a big responsibility to take care of a child.

My mother graduated college with a bachelor’s degree. Apart from everything else, my father is the same man he was when they met. My father loves spreading his words of wisdom to everyone he comes across. As their lives progressed, another blessing came in just a matter of time. Two kids, only a year apart, was a big deal for a 25-year-old. Over the following years, more children were introduced to the world. In present day, my parents have 8 children. This is the part where I fall into the story. As a sister of a 4 month old baby, I've realized how hard it is to raise a child and work a job.

To say more about my family, I have 4 brothers and 3 sisters. My oldest sister is in college at UNC Chapel Hill. Her name is Turunesh Lemons. She attended Student U as a student and was also an intern. My next older sister is Fiston. She loves to cook and wants to become a pastry chef. My youngest sister is Fana. She is one of the brightest girls I’ve seen. My sisters are some of the most important people in my life. I have many other people in my family, including my extended family of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, etc.

Let me give you a few things I like to do. I love to draw and sing around the house, even though my parents think I'm too loud. My father is a music artist. His artist name is "Cayenne, the Lion King". The first time my family realized that I had the ability to draw was when we were playing a game of charades. As a family, we also had a talent show, which is when my family realized that I could sing.

Life as a child is only there for a little while and you can only be a child once. So, as I heard that I knew I should find a sport. Two years ago, I found a sport that interested me. Volleyball was the best sport I’ve ever tried and I was picked to be the captain of the team. Winning Most Valuable Player, or M.V. P., of the volleyball team showed me that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to.

Helping the community is one of the things I love to do. The way I help is by donating clothes to the Salvation Army and delivering meals to the elderly through Meals on Wheels. The clubs that I've been involved in are: the Step team, A.I.G., and Odyssey of the Mind.

When I graduated from Carter Community Charter School, my friends were all sad that we were going our own way. A great part of my 8th grade year is that the teachers always thought we were the best students in the building. Also, my sister from another mother was in my grade and she won the Principal Award. No words could describe how happy I was for her.

The first talent show I ever participated in was last year. My friend and I sang. I was very scared, and even though we didn’t win, I still had a great experience. All of the obstacles I’ve overcome are because my family has always believed in me from day one. In the present day, I have put my mind on getting through the first year of high school. Moving to a new school is great, but will also a huge change for me. I say this because the new school may not be the same as the old one.

My family always tells me to make sure I leave my mark on the world, and also to bring happiness everywhere I go, especially in new places. I will be attending DSA for 9th grade. My brothers attended the same school, but one of them didn’t leave such a great reputation there. My younger brother is at DSA and will help me get through my first year.

On this note, you guys pretty much know how most of my life has been. Additionally, I want to say that you control how your life will be, not others. So, I will let you soak in this autobiography of me and do something great with your life so you can write an autobiography as well.
